Special Thank You ~

To all of those who have been keeping up with my blog. Wow, I had no idea so many would visit!

I might be a bit slow on updating it for a few days. We're moving, so that means I got to pack, unpack, pack, and unpack . .FUN !!

It's with much sadness in my heart, that I write that Summerset is no longer with me. I couldn't take her to the new place so she was re-homed. I had no choice .. It's breaking my heart tremendously not having her here with me. I miss her dearly, as I miss Twix..

It sure has been a very difficult last 2yrs.

Happy Spring ~

These last few days have been beautiful. Every where I look, flowers are blooming!

Well, you all know how I am with the camera..
Yesterday I headed out and took some more pictures. - This time I took pictures of the flowers we have planted out front. They looked so beautiful in the sunlight!

One of those beautiful flowers is my little girl Twix. - She will be gone 1yr this April 2nd.


I hope everyone who is reading this will have a nice spring time this year.

Catster's Cat of the Day

The first thing I did today when I woke up this morning was check my mailbox. I had about 20+ messages in there. "Why?!" I wondered. Then, when I logged into Catster, I found out Twix was picked as Cat of the day today on Catster. I think I was in shock for a good part of the day. It's been a nice one that's for sure, but also bitter sweet. I wish Twix was home with me. I miss her so much.

She has gotten so many presents today on her page. One friend even made her a picture. (Pictured left). Some of the friends who sent her gifts are ones we haven't see in such a long time. It's been really nice to see. Twix & I both are so lucky to have so many friends.

Spring is Blooming ~

I'm not sure what this flower is called, but it's blooming all over the place, like that purple flower I had taken a picture of.

Around this time last year, every time I saw these flowers, I would think of my friend Laurel. She was into oriental things. --You can see that by visiting her cat, Tess' page. I had one time made a picture for Tess with Cherry Blossom Trees in the background. I'm not sure if these flowers (Pictured Left) are Cherry Blossoms or not, but they look very similar to one ..which is why I think of my friend when seeing them.

Another reason is ..in my last email to Laurel --Shortly before her death-- I had sent her a picture of a Cherry Blossom Tree.

I first noticed them today when giving Clemy a walk. Seeing them made me think of my friend. Such a strange feeling came over me. How I wish I could share this picture with her. .

My Little Helper ~

While out yesterday, I got some new bedding and pillows for my bed. Today, Summerset decided to give me a helping paw while I was making my bed. Hmmm ..Not sure if chasing my hand while I'm straightening up the blanket is help or not, but she seems to think so.

At least I didn't get bit this time!

When it comes to making the bed, Summer is always there "helping"!
