What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas! - Part 2

Well, I've been back home for a few weeks now, but things have kept me from coming here and doing another blog post about my Vegas trip ...until now.

I had a great time in Vegas. I saw things that I had never seen before in my life - one of those things being the endless amount of lights that went on for miles and miles. It was an adventure for me and an eye opener inside a reality that was beyond my own. I have never been outside of Arizona until my Vegas trip.

Before leaving my hometown state, I got to see parts of our beautiful Grand Canyon and the Colorado River. The sights were breath taking!

This was the first casino I went into while in Nevada!

4 Queens - The Casino/Hotel I stayed in while there.

The entrance was so beautiful - felt like a palace!

On the old Las Vegas main strip - You can't tell from this photo, but this place was packed with tourist from all over the world.

I ate at the Paradise Buffet - they had great food there.

And got a chance to meet Captain Jack Sparrow! Okay, his wanna-be look-alike twin...

Then I got to watch an amazing light show!

Afterwards, I got to head down to where all the big major casinos where. - it was so overwhelming!

Also saw the road that was named after Frank Sinatra!

Inside the Encore Casino - I will never forget how beautiful the inside of this casino was.

I got myself a few souvenirs while in Vegas, things like postcards and a few tops. One was also this neat keychain with "Twixybaby" written on a tiny piece of rice. The man who did it was so sweet. He talked about his hometown, which was in Korea, and how he loved cats but didn't own one. I had a nice time chatting with him and told him about my volunteering work at the Yavapai Humane Society. Before I left, I made sure to tell him to get himself a kitty!  He said he would! He was a great guy!

Before heading back home, I visited California for a day to see my Aunt there. I didn't get to see much, except for these lovely flowers. - I'll be back for sure!

I had a good laugh when crossing the Arizona border. There wasn't a cactus in-sight while driving in California, but once I crossed that border into Arizona, there was cactuses every where!

It's great to be home!
