That is what I call this picture. The Seasons of Life. I found it a long time ago. Don't know who made ..just know this picture has deep meaning in it ...What does it say to you? Comment below. I'd love to read your thoughts on it.
I haven't been able to think of anything to write lately. Ever have one of those days where you feel like all your thoughts and feelings are just locked up inside of you? That's how I've been feeling..
These ain't one of my best pictures of Preston, but you have to give me credit. Taking pictures of a kitten isn't easy. Especially when he has food on the mind!
Speaking of food, this cat has quite the appetite on him. He empties his food bowl faster than a hungry pack of wolves! (Okay, maybe not that fast ...but close enough) I've never seen a cat eat so much! Maybe it's a kitten thing? ..might have to re-name him Garfield..
I see them all over the place. Seems like everyone has one for their blog/website. So I thought "Why not mine?". It took me forever to figure it out, but with the help of this free program. - Gimp - and a lot of time & patience, I finally figured it out! I'm so excited!
In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, I'm putting on this badge I got from the breastcancersite.com
My grandmother (Story Here) died from it before I had the chance to meet her. Every women should know how important getting a mammogram is. Don't say "It'll never happen to me" or "I don't want to know". Many wives, daughters, sisters, mothers, grandmothers, and friends have died from breast cancer because it wasn't detected early. Please don't be one of them.
Don't be fooled by his sweet looking pictures. Behind those adorable eyes of his lies a naughty kitty who knows how to do things and look innocent afterwards. (Typical of kittens!) Like the other night, for example: Preston had took interest in a few tv cords that were tucked behind the dresser. I tried all sorts of things to distract him from them, but nothing worked. This went on for about an hour. He just wouldn't leave those cords alone! ...That is, until, I had gotten up and headed towards the kitchen. Preston saw me and ran at top speed to get ahead of me. The room was dark, but I was still able see this little fluff ball running pass me. When I turned on the kitchen light, there he was! Laying down on the kitchen floor as if he was there for hours! Preston is always doing things like this. I adore every moment of it, too.
These pictures were taken today while he was resting on top of our couch. He's growing so fast!
I sign up for an account a few weeks ago to see what it was like. So far, I think it's a neat website. It keeps and organizes your bookmarks all in one place. They also give you the option of sharing your bookmarks with friends!
Being creative is what I enjoy more than anything. I'm perfectly happy being left alone doing things like taking pictures, blogging, and scrapbooking. One of the reasons why I enjoy scrapbooking so much is because you can "Show Yourself" through the things you make. Personalizing something with your own touch makes it all that more special. It's "You" and no one else.
One of my favorite things I own is this big red bag full of scrapbook papers, stickers, ribbons, etc! I love spending hours creating stuff.
Everything I made so far has a special reason for it. - Like the one with pictures of Twix all over it.
Since moving, I haven't really been able to head outside and enjoy the pleasures of nature. Lets face it, there's nothing nice about a wagon full of toasted flowers. - Thank our 100 plus degree weather for that! It is amazing to me how much different this place is from where I came from. All within the same state!
So what I'm I doing with my favorite companion (The Camera)?! Taking pictures of my little man, Preston. Now I know reading post after post about this little kitten is going to get tiring to most of you, but I can't help it. He's brought so much joy & fun into my life.
These pictures were taken yesterday evening while playing with him. It is ..I REPEAT ..It is impossible to tire this kitten out! He's like that energizer bunny ..Keeps going and going and going..
For a little kitten, Preston sure does have a lot of energy in him! Running from one place to the next - Getting the dogs to chase after him. Then, after he's done causing havoc, he falls asleep. Looking all innocent & sweet.
Thanks to my family & friends, my 21st birthday will be a day I'll remember always with a smile. Among all the wishes & gifts I got that day, I got surprised with the cutest little pink paws I have ever seen!
Meet my new owner ...
My parents surprised me with her after treating me to dinner. Her little pink paws and cute face won me over. I am thrilled and so happy to belong to a cat again.
Life is too short to wake up with regrets. Love the people who treat you right. Forget about the ones who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy. They just promised it would be worth it. Friends are like balloons. Once you let them go, you can't get them back. So I'm gonna tie you to my heart so I never lose you. Send these balloons to your friends. You must also return it to me.
We got one little pup left. Harry - The oldest out of the litter. This little one is still waiting for his forever home. I'm secretly hoping to keep him, though I had wanted Lily Hope so badly. (My Birthday is next Wednesday! *Hint* *Hint*)
Puppies are just cute! Everything they do is cute ..even the naughty things they do! I really have enjoyed the time I've had with these pups. Watching them grow has been such a joy.
Here are some pictures I took of Harry yesterday. - He'll be 11 weeks old this Thursday.
(The one above was taken at 6 weeks old)
There's one thing about me that I am sure most of you don't know; and that is, I am a very sentimental person. I keep EVERYTHING if it has meaning to me!
It all started when my Dad give me this little metal box with a lock & key. I was about 7 then, I think. It wasn't much to look at during the time, but to me, it was the biggest thing! (If you grew up with siblings, I'm sure you know how hard it is to keep everything safe)
I decorated this "chest" with stickers and put my most special things in it. - Bottle caps, old coins, my little clown from when I was a baby ..Most are little things my Dad found and gave to me. - I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!
So. . .
What's the most special thing you own? (Comment Below)
